From a rain point of view Kathryn Lake is a reasonably common place; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. For the duration of the long summer days here at Kathryn Lake, high temperatures regularly reach the 80's. All through the moonlight hours it's frequently in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's       with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Kathryn Lake. You could also visit 0.33 Reservoir if you're here at Kathryn Lake; it's close by. There's so much to do here at Kathryn Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Chippewa Campground is a tremendous spot for that. John Zester G1765 Dam is an exciting thing to check out, and Yellow River is a brilliant whitewater spot nearby. This lake is so wonderful. There is a perfect hiking trail near Kathryn                  Lake called the Ice Age Trail, and a good spot for whitewater paddling is Jump River - South Fork. Kathryn Lake really is in the middle of a gorgeous outdoors paradise. Americinn - Medford, Wi is a wonderful location to get some rest.
