All the outdoors cool stuff in close proximity to Kalepp Lake will keep you coming back persistently. Monster Hall Campground
 | 11 miles away ...onster Campground, near Unity, WI. It was Memorial Day weekend, and the sites were probably half filled. The grounds were shady with nice grassy sites with water and electricity on all the sites. Bathrooms were kept clean with the exception of leaking water from the showers which flooded the floors. There were two sets of toilets and showers, one set was at the main building that housed a bar (which served great fish fries and has its own micro-brewery), game room, and office. The upper bath site had no hot water all weekend. It has a separate bathroom with shower for females, and apparently for males too, but it appeared to be nailed shut. They also have a swimming pool, but it was too early in the season to be cleaned and open.
Detractors seemed to be a lack of enforcing the quiet hours. Parties with music blaring, singing and yelling went on until 3 a. M. Some noise was from the weedend campers next to us, and some noise was from the permanent site owners, which also included blowing on a plastic trumpet, not only during the day, but into the night.
