The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to June Lake. Summer overnight lows drop down to the 50's. Through the winter highs are mostly in the 10's while the cold winter nights at June Lake are in the-10's. After a long day outdoors Tomahawk Super 8 Motel is a perfect place to spend a night or two, and June Lake is a glorious site to camp, Muskellunge Resort is a glorious site. From       a rain point of view June Lake is a rather common place; the month with most of the rain is September while February is frequently the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Granite Peak is close to June Lake, and camping at June Lake is perfect fun, Council Grounds State Park is a perfect local campground. In the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on New Wood River, and Lake Mohawkson Cabin is a                  wonderful location to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Visit Averill Creek while you're here at June Lake; June Lake is not far at all from Merrill. This location is great, just look at all the enjoyable stuff to do next to June Lake.
