A good location for whitewater paddling next to Junction Lake is Little Wolf River, and why not stop at Brownes Point also since you're here. This lake is so wonderful. If you came to camp Deerhaven Campground is a good place to do that, and Miner Lake is a nearby lake that       you could pop by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Junction Lake while overnight lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter highs are in the 20's while Junction Lake nighttime low temperatures through the winter are in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Best Western Grand Seasons Hotel, and if you get bored of Junction Lake you could also explore close by McCrossen Lake. There's so much to do here at Junction Lake that                  you need to camp here for a while, Camp Young Judea is a magnificent place for that; Foxfire Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Junction Lake is a good place of typical precipitation; September is the month that gets the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. This spot is excellent, just explore all the entertaining things to do in close proximity to Junction Lake.
