Whitewater paddling is good on Baraboo River, and you can never get enough of the perfect skiing at Christmas Mountain. a long day outdoors Clarion Hotel Baraboo is a wonderful spot to spend a night or two. While staying at Johnson Ponds you could always discover Griegol Gulch. There's so much to do here at Johnson Ponds that you need to camp here
for a while, Devil's Lake State Park is a wonderful site for that. Have a great hiking adventure along the East Bluff Woods Trail, and skiing at Devils Head is one of those things you just ought to do.
You'll need more than a
day to explore everything Johnson Ponds has to offer, you can camp at Double K-d Ranch Campground, and near Johnson Ponds you stumble on a golf course called Baraboo Country Club. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is tremendous

are typically in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures fall down into the 50's. All through the winter highs are in the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Johnson Ponds.
