Johnson Pond is a lake worth visiting. While you're here at Johnson Pond you can take a hike along the Lauterman Trail, and Florence County Park Campground is a splendid campground here. Stay the night at Chipmunk Rapids Campground, and on a great day you can take a hike along the Dendro Eco Trail. For the duration of the warm days of summer here at Johnson Pond, high temperatures generally reach the 70's, and the night is somewhat cooler of course, usually in

| | the 50's. During the winter highs are generally in the 20's, and night lows at Johnson Pond during the wintertime frequently drop into the 0's.
The skiing at Ski Brule is brilliant; it's a good idea to explore Johnson Creek. This lake is so wonderful. A picturesque lake like Lake of Dreams in the neighborhood of Johnson Pond is a good location to take a look at, and paddling on Pine River is so much fun.

day on the slopes of Brule Mountain is just what you need, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Iron River, Mi. The annual rain here at Johnson Pond is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain
while February is mostly the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. If you need a site to stay Iron Inn Motel is a splendid choice, and get dripping wet paddling on Brule River.
