A great nearby hotel is Village Inn Motel, and glide down the rapids of Little Wolf River in a kayak. If you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Foxfire is a great choice, and if you come at the right time of year, Embarrass River - South Branch offers some great whitewater. Johnson Lake is pleasant enough to spend more than a day at, Royal Oaks Golf Resort is a pleasant       local campground, and there are plenty of folks from Stevens Point here. If you came to camp Family Frontier Campground is a nice site to do that, and you're probably into lakes, Budsberg Lake is one of those close by. If you want a great time in the great outdoors, just come on down to Johnson Lake. Throughout the warm days of summer at Johnson Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's.
