The amount of precipitation that falls at Johnson Lake is close to the national average; of all the months in a year September is the one with the most rain, and February is when it's the driest. Not far from Johnson Lake, you'll find Kelly Lake which is a pretty lake, and some nearby water includes Daly Creek. This lake is so wonderful. An       afternoon playing golf at Parkway Golf Course is always a diversion, and if you come at the right time of year, Thunder River offers some tremendous whitewater. This site is so good, just explore all the exciting stuff to do in the neighborhood of Johnson Lake. There are other places here than Johnson Lake, for example First Lake, and Johnson Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Marty and June Katzka is a good place to camp nearby. At Johnson                  Lake during the warmest time of the year highs are in the 80's. For the duration of the moonlight hours it's mostly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Johnson Lake. Lots of folks from Green Bay come to Johnson Lake.
