This lake is so wonderful. Ward's Flambeau Resort is a pleasant campground nearby; Meadows Lake is a nearby lake that you could visit. During the summer at Jerome Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures drop down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in       the 20's, and overnight lows at Jerome Lake all through the winter typically drop into the-10's. The yearly precipitation here at Jerome Lake is about average; through September this area sees the most rain, and February on the other hand is the driest. You'll wish for more hours in a day to enjoy all the enjoyable things at Jerome Lake. Good hiking is available along the Hay Meadow Trail; if you need a location to stay Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi is a fine                  choice. Don't leave Jerome Lake without first going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail; Brunet Island State Park is a tremendous local campground. Here at Jerome Lake you'll probably meet some people from Eau Claire; if you're here, you could also explore striking Spring Creek Flowage Number One. If you come at the right time of year, Chippewa River offers some fine whitewater, and a nice nearby hotel is Americinn Lodge Ladysmith. This lake is so wonderful.
