While you're here at Jacques Lake you can take a hike along the Serley Camp Trail; do stop at Maple Creek if you're here at Jacques Lake. Throughout the months of summer, highs regularly are in the 80's at Jacques Lake. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures fall down into the 50's. For the duration of the winter highs are typically in the 20's; all through the dark hours in the winter at Jacques Lake temperatures       descend to the-10's. This lake is so wonderful. There is a magnificent hiking trail close to Jacques Lake called the Hardwood Trail, and after a long day outdoors Americinn Lodge Ladysmith is a magnificent location to spend a night or two. This is no place for people who don’t like to have a good time. Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always take a look at close by Windfall Lake, and you can stay the night at Thornapple River Campground.                  Lakes? Sure, Murphy Lake is in the vicinity, and dry warm beds await you at Americinn - Ladysmith, Wi. On a nice day at Jacques Lake you can take a hike along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail; a day on the slopes of Christie Mountain is just what you need. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Chippewa River - West Fork is so much fun. Chippewa River has a splendid whitewater paddling spot nearby, and Windfall Lake Camping is a brilliant campground nearby.
