Jackson Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of September is the wettest with most of the rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Summer at Jackson Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's while night lows are generally in the 50's. Through the winter       highs are in the 20's while Jackson Lake overnight low temperatures through the wintertime are in the 0's. Embarrass River - South Branch has a perfect whitewater paddling spot nearby, and if you need a place to stay Comfort Suites Foxfire is a great choice. This lake is so wonderful. In case you don’t have a problem getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Little Wolf River. There's so much to do here at Jackson Lake that you need                  to camp here for a while, Royal Oaks Golf Resort is a good location for that. This is a good vicinity for people who like lakes. North Lake is a lake around here, and you can stay the night at Iola Pines Campground. What a place this is for outdoors people.
