The beauty of Jackknife Lake attracts many people from all around. Birkensee Resort is a good campground here, and paddling on Prairie River is so much fun. You'll meet a lot of people from Merrill here; camping at Jackknife Lake is good fun, Northforest Campgrounds is a good local campground. This lake is so wonderful. If the weather is gorgeous, you obtain a great vista of Harrison Hills from Jackknife Lake, obviously you could also stop by Ament Lake since you're here; it's not far at all. Jackknife Lake is right by the Bearskin State Park Trail. Summer at Jackknife Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. Through the
dark hours of summer temperatures plunge down into the 50's. All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Jackknife Lake temperatures descend to the-10's.
