This lake is so wonderful. Near Island Lake you stumble on a golf course called Krooked Kreek Golf Course, and you can never get enough of the great skiing at Trollhaugen. If you get bored of Island Lake, you could also take a look at close by Lotus Lake, and there are some great whitewater spots on Apple River. This lake is so wonderful. During the summer, highs usually are in the 80's at Island Lake. For the period       of the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 60's. High temperatures through the winter are normally in the 20's, and overnight lows throughout the winter for Island Lake tend to be in the 0's. If you need a location to stay Americinn - New Richmond, Wi is a splendid choice, and Pleasant Lake is a nearby lake that you could pop by.
