Very beautiful scenery and good skiing                  is what you get at Whitecap Mountain, and Island Lake is a perfect spot to visit for more than one day, Double E Resort is a perfect spot to camp nearby. This lake is so wonderful. This lake is so wonderful. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Big Powderhorn Mountain while you're here, and if you've had enough of Island Lake, Ruby Lake is nearby. This spot rules, just look at all the entertaining stuff to do near Island Lake. Days Inn Hurley is a nice spot to get some rest; some close by water includes Pleasant Lake Outlet. Island Lake is located in the Gogebic Range.
