Lakes are such calm places, why not pop by Bass Lake near Island Lake; there are other places here than Island Lake, for example Hook Lake. Ice Age National Scenic Trail is a good local destination here at Island Lake, and while you're here and you like golf, you can have       a look at Stoughton Country Club. A normal amount of rainfall falls here at Island Lake; during the month of June you get the most rain around here while January is the month with the least amount of precipitation. Stoughton Inn is a perfect spot to get some rest. You'll need more than a day to discover everything Island Lake has to offer, you can camp at Lake Kegonsa State Park. During the summertime months at Island Lake temperatures are mostly in the 80's,                  and throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 60's. All through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 20's, and through the dark hours in the winter at Island Lake temperatures descend to the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Island Lake there are plenty of folks from Madison.
