A visit to Iodine Lake is always a good idea. You'll never forgive yourself if you don’t go skiing at Whitecap Mountain if you're here, and while you're here, you could also take a look at pretty Beaverdam Lake. Iodine Lake is great enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a great local campground. The warmest time of the year at Iodine Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's, and all through the night it cools down

This lake is so wonderful. Looking for some flowing water? Try East Fork Hay Creek, and Sugarbush Dam is not far at all from Iodine Lake. Camping at Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is always a splendid
experience, and after a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a pleasant site to spend a night or two. From a rain point of view Iodine Lake is a rather normal site; August is the month that gets the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February.
