While you're here at Iodine Lake, you could also pop by beautiful Beaverdam Lake, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Flambeau River - South Fork. Iodine Lake gets a normal amount of precipitation; during       the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February meanwhile is the driest month. After a long day outdoors Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a brilliant place to spend a night or two, and East Fork Hay Creek is one of the streams close by that might be worth going to. What a place this is for outdoors people. Good hiking is available along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and the snow is splendid at Whitecap Mountain. This lake is so wonderful.                  Summertime highs at Iodine Lake typically tend to be in the 70's, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs through the winter are mostly in the 10's, and overnight lows in the-10's for Iodine Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Super 8 Motel - Phillips. There's so much to do here at Iodine Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a nice place for that. This lake is so wonderful.
