Many people like to go to Indian Lake. Throughout the warm months highs here at Indian Lake get into the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. High temperatures during the winter are normally in the 10's, and overnight lows at Indian Lake all through the winter mostly drop into the-10's. End Resort is a splendid site for that. Whohoo, so much fun stuff in one place! Indian Lake rocks! If you need a site to stay Flat Creek Inn and Suites is a perfect choice, and paddling on Chippewa River is so much fun.

Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail
 | 19 miles away 1 PHOTO The trail is called the Tuscobia State Trail. It runs 74 miles from Rice Lake to Park Falls, Wisconsin. The Trail crosses through Barron, Sawyer and Price Counties. This is a multi-use trail on the old railroad grade of the Omaha Railroad. There are lots of things to do and places to stop along the trail. There is now camping available at several points along the trail including Radisson, and Ojibwa. At Winter, the last remaining railroad depot, built in 1905, will be historically restored outside and inside, it will house a visitor center, there will be trailhead parking, historical displays, and picnic areas. The restoration is slated for completion in 2011. ... |
