Indian Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. The Gogebic Range scenery is always beautiful. This lake is so wonderful. There's wonderful hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Marengo River. You truly must love the Gogebic Range. Good hiking is available along the Great Divide Snowmobile Trail, and Chippewa River Campground is a delightful campground here. Man, is there a load of enjoyable things to do in the Gogebic Range. All the outdoors enjoyable stuff right next door to Indian Lake will keep you coming back again and again. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 70's to Indian Lake, and the nighttime is rather colder of course, regularly in the 50's. Through the wintertime this place gets highs in the 10's while
the cold winter nights at Indian Lake are in the-10's. After a long day outdoors Best Western Holiday House is a good spot to spend a night or two, and camping at Indian Lake is tremendous fun, Day Lake Campground is a tremendous
local campground. Indian Lake gets a normal amount of rain; September is the month that gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation.
