Not far from Imogene Lake, you'll hit upon Spectacle Lake which is a picturesque lake, and if the weather is good, you can go for a hike along the Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail. But wait, there's more to do right next door to Imogene Lake. Stay the night at Spectacle Lake Campground; there is a great hiking trail nearby called the Kimball Creek Trail. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Imogene       Lake. Throughout the dark hours of summer temperatures drop down into the 50's. Throughout the winter the highs are generally in the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Imogene Lake temperatures plunge to the 0's. Enjoy a round of golf at Big Sand Lake Golf Course not far from Imogene Lake, and if you need a spot to stay Wild Eagle Lodge is a good choice. On a magnificent day at Imogene Lake you can take a hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System;                  Ontonagon River - Middle Branch is a delightful whitewater spot nearby. There's so much to do here at Imogene Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Anvil Lake Campground is a nice place for that; Settle Inn & Stes Eagle River is a great location to get some rest.
