Since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always explore nearby Weiss Lake, and after a long day outdoors Best Western Northwoods Lodge is a nice location to spend a night or two. This is no site for people who don’t like to have fun. Near Ice Lake you discover a golf course called Siren Glen Golf Club, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Lower Tamarack River. Ice Lake is perfect enough to spend more than a day at, Clam Falls Campground is a perfect local campground, also Lewis Dam is worth stopping at while you're here. A common amount of rainfall falls here at Ice Lake; throughout the month of June you get the most rain around here, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. Crooked Lake is a great choice, and the Markville Snowmobile Trail offers hiking at its best. For the duration of the summertime months highs here at Ice Lake get into the 80's. Once the sun is down it sinks down to the 50's.
All through the winter the highs are mostly in the 10's, and night lows through the winter for Ice Lake tend to be in the-10's.
