Glide down the rapids of Chippewa River - East Fork in a kayak, and getting to Boyd Creek from Hunter Lake is uncomplicated. Going for a hike along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this vicinity, and do take a hike on the Black Lake Trail.       This lake is so wonderful. If you came for an overnight stay Black Lake Campground is a great site to camp; you'll find a wonderful lake called 235 Reservoir. Having a good time at Hunter Lake is easy. Hiking along the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail is splendid fun, and do visit Blue Gill Lake, it's a beautiful lake. Summer at Hunter Lake comes with high temperatures in the 70's. When the night sets in temperatures sink down into the 50's. Highs through                  the wintertime are frequently in the 10's, and overnight lows at Hunter Lake during the winter typically dip into the-10's. Enjoy a round of golf at Barker Lake Golf Course not far from Hunter Lake, and Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a good local campground. Hunter Lake gets a common amount of rain; most of the rain falls all through August, and February on the other hand is the driest.
