There's wonderful hiking along the Kimball Creek Trail, and everyone nearby loves skiing at Ski Brule. After a long day outdoors Best Western Crandon Inn & Suites is a glorious place to spend a night or two, and probably you're looking for nearby lakes? Sure, Quartz Lake is just a very short distance away. The Kentuck-Spectacle Lake Trail offers hiking at its best, and Forks Dam is a charming place. Be careful coming to Howell Lake, you might not ever want to return

| | home again. This is a great vicinity for folks who like lakes. Indian Camp Lake is a lake close at hand. There's so much to do here at Howell Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Luna-White Deer Campground is a glorious place for that.
This lake is so wonderful. Brule Springs is an inspiring place to explore while here, and you can run the rapids of Pine River. This lake is so wonderful. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Anvil Lake Trail System, | |

and Brule Mountain is a tremendous local ski area. Howell Lake gets a common amount of annual rainfall; August is the month that gets the most rain while February is commonly the driest month.
All through the months of summer,
highs frequently are in the 70's at Howell Lake, and all through summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Throughout the winter highs are in the 10's, and overnight lows in the 0's for Howell Lake. Howell Lake is fine enough to
spend more than a day at, Kentuck Lake Campground is a fine local campground, and naturally Howell Creek flows through this neighborhood.
