A lake nearby is Upper Twin Lake, and there's whitewater on Chippewa River for all you adrenaline kick people. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a delightful place to get some rest, and get your pulse rate up on the splendid whitewater of Duncan Creek. You could also explore Clear Lake if you're here at Howe       Lake; it's close by, and a great close by hotel is Glen Loch Motel. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike on the Hay Meadow Trail is always a tremendous adventure. Howe Lake gets a normal amount of rainfall; the month with most of the rain is August, and February is the month with the least moisture. There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Howe Lake. You're sure to bump into some cheerful people from Eau Claire here, and Howe Lake is a pleasant                  place to visit for more than one day, Lake Wissota State Park is a pleasant place to camp nearby. At Howe Lake all through the summer highs are in the 80's, and the nighttime is fairly chillier of course, mostly in the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's, and after the sun is down throughout the winter temperatures at Howe Lake plunge into the 0's.
