Paddling on Peshtigo River is so much fun; dry warm beds await you at Best Western Crivitz Lodge. The scenery at Marsh Lake Dam near House Lake is beautiful; Bahlert Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to. There's so much to do here at House Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Marty and June Katzka is a glorious spot for that; a round of golf at nearby Parkway Golf Course       is a brilliant way to kill some time. Summer brings highs in the 80's to House Lake. Once the sun is down it dips down to the 50's. High temperatures throughout the winter are normally in the 20's while the cold winter nights at House Lake are in the 0's. You think that's enough? Just getting warmed up. If you need a place to stay Country Inn & Suites By Carlson, Iron Mountain, MI is a tremendous choice. The amount of rain that falls at House Lake is close                  to the national average; during September this area sees the most rain, and the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful.
