For the duration of the warm days of summer highs here at Hourglass Lake reach the 70's with overnight lows in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's, and through the dark hours in the wintertime at Hourglass Lake temperatures sink to the-10's. Why not camp at Emily Lake Campground if you're here at Hourglass Lake, and       do have a look at Emerson Lake, it's a wonderful lake. This lake is so wonderful. Whitewater paddling is great on Flambeau River - South Fork, and there is a pleasant hiking trail nearby called the Newman Springs Ski Trail. This spot rules, just look at all the exciting things to do in close proximity to Hourglass Lake. Hourglass Lake is a good spot of common rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and February is when it's the driest.
