Summertime highs at Hostrawser Lake typically tend to be in the 80's. When the night sets in temperatures descend down into the 50's. During the winter the highs are frequently in the 10's, and overnight lows at Hostrawser Lake during the wintertime regularly dip into the-10's. Don't stop me now, cause I'm       havin' a good time here at Hostrawser Lake. If you come at the right time of year, Bois Brule River offers some pleasant whitewater; Hostrawser Lake is splendid enough to spend more than a day at, Birch Grove Campground is a splendid local campground. This lake is so wonderful. Playing golf is lots of fun at Northern Pines Golf Course, and nearby you hit upon the Virgin Pine Trail which is a tremendous hiking trail. Do have a look at Richardson Lake next to                  Hostrawser Lake, it's a gorgeous lake, and camping at Top O' The Morn Resort is always a good experience. An average amount of precipitation falls at Hostrawser Lake; the wettest month of the year is regularly August, that's the one that rains the most, and February is when it's the driest.
