Horseshoe Lake is a great spot to camp, Shangri La Lodge Campground is a great spot, and if you need a spot to stay Country House Motel is a delightful choice. Camping at Horseshoe Lake is tremendous fun, Log Cabin Resort and Canoe Renta is a tremendous local campground, and get drenched paddling on St. Croix River. From a rainfall point of view Horseshoe Lake is a rather typical place; the month with most of       the rain is August; the driest of the months is February. All the outdoors entertaining things next to Horseshoe Lake will keep you coming back again and again. Soar down the rapids of Eau Claire River in a kayak; dry warm beds await you at Best Western American Heritage Inn. At Horseshoe Lake during the summer months highs are in the 70's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's with temperatures at Horseshoe                  Lake dipping down into the-10's during winter nights. This lake is so wonderful.
