This lake is so wonderful. Why not camp at Leesome Pine Campgrounds since you're here at Horseshoe Lake. Lakes? Sure, Pickerel Lake is around here. The amount of rain that falls at Horseshoe Lake is close to the national average; August is when you get the most rain here; February meanwhile is the driest month. Whohoo, so much enjoyable stuff in one place! Horseshoe Lake is excellent! Northern Pine Inn is a good site to get some rest, and close by                  you find the Serley Camp Trail which is a glorious hiking trail. Going for a hike on the Hardwood Trail is always a nice adventure, and Namekagon River has a good whitewater paddling spot nearby.
