Why not camp at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd if you're here at Horseshoe Lake, and Super 8 Motel - Chetek is a magnificent place to get some rest. Through the summer months at Horseshoe Lake highs are usually in the 80's. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The winter comes with highs in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Horseshoe Lake. Good hiking is available       along the Hardwood Trail, and a nice site to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Loon Lake Camp Grounds. Man, is there loads of entertaining stuff to do in the vicinity of Horseshoe Lake. Christie Mountain is a magnificent local ski area. The yearly precipitation here at Horseshoe Lake is about average; August is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture. This lake is so wonderful. You could also stop by Beauty Lake since                  you're here at Horseshoe Lake; it's nearby, and there's splendid hiking along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. After a long day outdoors Microtel Rice Lake is a great place to spend a night or two, and the Hickory Ridge Trail offers hiking at its best.   Super 8 Motel - Chetek, Chetek 11 miles away Beautiful Pride of Super 8 facility on a hillside overlooking the Chetek River.
