At Horseshoe Lake throughout the days of summer highs are in the 80's with night lows in the 50's. For the duration of the winter this place gets highs in the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake. If you need a location to stay Best Western Crivitz Lodge is a great choice, and camping is available at Marty and June Katzka. If you don’t have a problem getting dripping       wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Peshtigo River, and a great location to camp here at Horseshoe Lake is Timberline Resort and Campground. No way I can stop, cause I'm havin' a magnificent time here at Horseshoe Lake. This is a popular place for people from Marinette. Horseshoe Lake gets a normal amount of annual rain; through September this area sees the most rain; the driest month is February. This lake is so wonderful. Take a side journey to                  Murphy Creek, and Thunder River has a great whitewater paddling spot nearby.
