The amount of rain that falls at Horseshoe Lake is close to the national average; the month with most of the rain is September while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. Americinn - Merrill, Wi is a good place to get some rest; Horseshoe Lake is not the only location nearby, Horn Lake is       a nearby lake. You just should like Horseshoe Lake. There are plenty of people from Merrill here at Horseshoe Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Horseshoe Lake has to offer, you can camp at Birkensee Resort. At Horseshoe Lake all through the summertime highs are in the 70's. Once the sun is down it drops down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Horseshoe Lake. There's                  so much to do here at Horseshoe Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Council Grounds State Park is a great spot for that; you can never get enough of the nice skiing at Granite Peak.
