At Hoover Lake during the days of summer highs are in the 80's with overnight lows in the 60's. All through the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's, and overnight lows through the wintertime for Hoover Lake tend to be       in the 0's. This lake is so wonderful. Dry warm beds await you at Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites St. Croix Valley, Wi; camping at Wildwood Park Campgrounds is always a delightful experience. Saint Croix National Scenic River is a nice place in the neighborhood of Hoover Lake; if you like skiing, you're in luck; Trollhaugen is reasonably near. The amount of precipitation that falls at Hoover Lake is close to the national average; June is the month that                  gets the most rain while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. There's whitewater on St. Croix River for all you adrenaline rush seekers; Hoover Lake is right by the Sunrise Ferry Hiking Trail. If you need a place to stay Luck Country Inn is a tremendous choice; a splendid place to camp here at Hoover Lake is Schillberg's Campgrounds. This lake is so wonderful.
