Whitewater paddling is brilliant on White River; Honey Lake 70 is not the only location nearby, Honey Lake is a nearby lake. This lake is so wonderful. Paddling on Pewaukee River is so much fun, obviously you could also explore Delmonte Lake while you're here; it's not far at all. A quick spree to Honey Creek near Honey Lake 70       is a good idea, and a nice nearby hotel is Sleep Inn Mukwonago. The yearly rainfall here at Honey Lake 70 is about average; most of the rain falls through July while February is usually the driest month. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Alpine Valley is next to Honey Lake 70, and Brown's Lake Golf Course is a pleasant golf course close by. Summer brings highs in the 80's to Honey Lake 70. During the moonlight hours it's commonly in the 60's. For the                  duration of the winter highs are commonly in the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Honey Lake 70. This lake is so wonderful. The skiing at Grand Geneva is splendid; if you came for an overnight stay Meadowlark Acres Family Campground is a good spot to camp. So much cool stuff in close proximity to Honey Lake 70, definitely remarkable.
