A fine close by hotel is Super 8 Motel - Phillips, and lakes are such calm locations, why not pop by Bass Lake. The annual precipitation here at Homestead Lake is about average; of all the months in a year August is the one with the most rain while February is usually the driest month. This lake is so wonderful. A fine swamp near Homestead       Lake is Deadman Slough; if you need a spot to stay Super 8 Motel - Park Falls is a perfect choice. Homestead Lake is a good place to visit for more than one day, Butternut Lake Campground is a good place to camp nearby, and a stunning lake like Dog Lake is a delightful location to check out. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this location. Soo Lake Resort is a pleasant local campground. For the duration of the summer months highs here at Homestead Lake                  get into the 80's while night lows are typically in the 50's.
