Summer at Holmes Lake arrives with high temperatures in the 80's; throughout summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. During the wintertime the highs are usually in the 20's with temperatures at Holmes Lake dipping down into the-10's through winter nights. This lake is so wonderful. A glorious location to camp here at Holmes Lake       is Dahle's Campground, and Schullenberger Lake is a nearby lake that you could take a look at. Be careful coming to Holmes Lake, you might not ever wanna go home again. Why not camp at Leesome Pine Campgrounds if you're here at Holmes Lake, and an afternoon playing golf at Butternut Hills Golf Course & Golf Learning Center is always a pleasure. Holmes Lake gets a typical amount of precipitation; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month                  is February. A lake close by is Oak Lake; if you need a site to stay Americinn Shell Lake is a nice choice.
