There's just no way somebody can get bored here at Holmes Lake. If the weather is magnificent here at Holmes Lake, you can go for a hike along the Virgin Pine Trail, and if you're here, you could also stop at pretty Beaver Lake. For you golfers we recommend nearby Lakewoods Resort & Golf Forest       Ridges Golf Course, and camping at Boulder Lodge Resort is always a splendid experience. For the period of the summertime here at Holmes Lake, high temperatures commonly get into the 70's, and the overnight is quite cooler of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 10's with winter lows in the-10's overnight here at Holmes Lake. Hiking along the Rock Lake National Recreation Trail is nice fun, and Comfort Suites Hayward is a brilliant                  place to get some rest. Holmes Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Lake Namakagon Campgrounds is a fine local campground. A normal amount of rain falls here at Holmes Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here, and February on the other hand is the driest. This lake is so wonderful.
