You'll stumble on a picturesque lake called Hay Lake near Hoffman Lake, and there's whitewater on Flambeau River - South Fork for all you adrenaline kick people. Life's too short to enjoy all the exciting things close to Hoffman Lake. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Flambeau River - North Fork. You'll need more than a day to look at everything Hoffman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest.
