Flambeau River - North Fork has a nice whitewater paddling spot close by, and if you came to camp Lake Three - Chequamegon National Forest is a good place to do that. Bear Skull Rock is something you shouldn't miss if you're here at Hoffman Lake It's always great to take a look at Simmons Rapids. This lake is so wonderful. Head up to Whitecap Mountain and strap some       skis to your feet, and Hoffman Lake is fine enough to spend more than a day at, Mineral Lake - Chequamegon National Forest is a fine local campground. Summertime highs at Hoffman Lake commonly tend to be in the 70's, and through the night it cools down to the 50's. For the period of the winter this place gets highs in the 10's, and all through the dark hours in the winter at Hoffman Lake temperatures dip to the-10's. Park Falls Super 8 Motel is a delightful place                  to get some rest, and if you've had enough of Hoffman Lake, Hay Lake is nearby. You just can't envision the amount of outdoors entertaining stuff the area close to Hoffman Lake has to offer. Why not take a refreshing hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail, and paddling on Flambeau River - South Fork is so much fun. After a long day outdoors Super 8 Motel - Phillips is a good place to spend a night or two, and Hoffman Lake is not the only spot nearby, Blockhouse Lake is a nearby lake.
