The slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain are so inviting noone can resist, and do go to Kinder Lake, it's a gorgeous lake. If you come at the right time of year, Black River offers some great whitewater, and going for a hike along the Newman Springs Ski Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. This lake is so wonderful. Float down the rapids of Turtle River in a kayak, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Ironwood, Mi is a nice choice.

lake like Paul Lake is a tremendous location to visit. This lake is so wonderful. A nice nearby hotel is Comfort Inn Ironwood. Camping is available at Big 6 RV Resort and Campground; if you're a golfer then a great close by course is Tahoe Lynx Golf Course.
