Himple Lake is a pleasant place to visit for more than one day, Brunet Island State Park is a pleasant place to camp nearby, and since you might be in a lake visiting mood you can always pop by close by Oliver Lakes. High temperatures at Himple Lake throughout the summertime are in the 80's. Once the sun is down it plunges down to the 50's. The       wintertime brings highs down to the 20's, and nighttime lows at Himple Lake during the winter generally dip into the 0's. Now, you may feel that's plenty but there's even more amusing stuff to do here at Himple Lake. Get soaked paddling on Chippewa River; not far from Himple Lake you'll come across Clear Lake which is a pretty lake. This lake is so wonderful. A day on the slopes of Christie Mountain is just what you need. Don't leave Himple Lake without first                  going for a hike along the Hay Meadow Trail; Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a brilliant place to get some rest. This lake is so wonderful. Lots of folks from Eau Claire come to Himple Lake, and there's good hiking along the Deer Fly Trail. A good nearby hotel is Glen Loch Motel, and nice hiking is available along the Hickory Ridge Trail.
