The amount of rainfall that falls at Himley Lake is close to the national average; throughout the month of September you get the most rain around here while February is ordinarily the driest month. There's so much to do here at Himley Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Ada Lake Campground is a glorious spot for that, and if you need a place to stay Best Western Lakewood Lodge is a delightful       choice. Don't miss out on a tremendous swamp; Harter Marsh is right here at Himley Lake, and Himley Lake is not the only location close by, Shoe Lake is a close by lake. This lake is so wonderful. Go for a hike on the Eds Lake Trail System. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy this place. A lake close by is Zarling Lake, and pleasant hiking is available along the Popple Ridge Snowmobile Trail. For the period of the months of summer, highs ordinarily are in                  the 70's at Himley Lake. Summer night lows drop down to the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the 0's to Himley Lake. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Himley Lake has to offer, you can camp at Richardson Lake Campground; there's great hiking along the Dendro Eco Trail. Whitewater paddling is not for everyone but if it's for you then we recommend Wolf River; hey, Gotta ski right? Brule Mountain is a glorious place to do that. This lake is so wonderful.
