Highland Lake is a very beautiful lake in beautiful surroundings. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Christie Mountain; you'll come across a wonderful lake called Beaver Lake. I don't want to stop, cause I'm havin' a delightful time here at Highland Lake. Duncan Creek has a tremendous whitewater paddling spot close by; Highland Lake is right by the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. This lake is so wonderful.

| | Summertime at Highland Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and the overnight is quite chillier of course, regularly in the 50's. The winter brings highs down to the 20's; winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Highland Lake. The nice folks of Eau Claire like to hang out nearby, and going for a hike along the Deer Fly Trail will let you absorb the natural beauty of this area. soaked, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River; hiking along the Hickory Ridge Trail is delightful fun. An average amount of precipitation falls at Highland Lake; during the month of August you get the most rain around here while February is generally the driest month.
