Through the moonlight hours it's regularly in the 50's. The wintertime brings highs down to the 20's with winter lows in the 0's overnight here at High Lake. And if you're still looking for more outdoors exciting things just keep reading. A short visit to Stevens Springs is always worthwhile. There's some flowing water close by, Hunting River is a stream you can check       out while you're here; unsurprisingly, this is a tremendous region for people who like lakes, Gilkey Lake is a lake close by. If you came for an overnight stay Rolling Stone Lake Resort is a magnificent spot to camp; dry warm beds await you at Lepak Cottage & Lake Home. This lake is so wonderful. Twin Oaks Resort is a brilliant place to get some rest, and drift down the rapids of Wolf River in a kayak. A typical amount of rain falls here at High Lake;                  September is the wettest month with most rain, and February is the month with the least moisture.
