Why not camp at Big 6 RV Resort and Campground if you're here at Hewitt Lake, and obviously, this is a magnificent region for people who like lakes, Camp Twelve Lake is a lake in close proximity. Paddling on Black River is so much fun, and after a long day outdoors Indianhead Motel is a good site to spend a night or two. All the outdoors entertaining things in       the Gogebic Range will keep you coming back repeatedly. Camping at Hewitt Lake is great fun, Henry Lake Campground is a great local campground. Not enough hours in a day to enjoy the Gogebic Range. A day on the slopes of Big Powderhorn Mountain is just what you need; going for a hike on the Rainbow Falls Trail is always a great adventure. Hewitt Lake gets a normal amount of yearly rainfall; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain while February is                  the month with the least amount of precipitation. Take a side spree to Mosinee Creek; the snow is nice at Indianhead. This spot rules, just look at all the entertaining things to do close to Hewitt Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Bluffs Inn, and drift down the rapids of Turtle River in a kayak. Through the months of summer at Hewitt Lake temperatures are ordinarily in the 70's. Summer nighttime lows dip down to the 50's. The wintertime comes with highs in the 10's, and winter nights come with lows in the-10's to Hewitt Lake.
