Really wonderful skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain; the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail offers hiking at its best. So many cool things to do here at Herde Lake, too wonderful to be true. Stay the night at Kamp Sugarrbush Bar and Campgrnd, and Herde Lake is right by the Hickory Ridge Trail. This lake is so wonderful. Here at Herde Lake there are plenty of folks from Eau Claire, and a nice       close by hotel is Glen Loch Motel. Cedar Creek is one of the streams nearby that might be worth a visit, and do take a hike on the Deer Fly Trail. Ace-In-The-Hole Lake is a nearby lake that you could go to, and paddling on Chippewa River is so much fun. At Herde Lake you can catch a glimpse of Pikes Peak, and float down the rapids of Duncan Creek in a kayak. Herde Lake gets a common amount of yearly rainfall; August is when you get the most rain here while                  February is frequently the driest month. There's so much to do here at Herde Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Rock Lake Resort and Campground is a nice location for that, and if you need a site to stay Paradise Shores Resort Hotel is a tremendous choice. Summertime highs at Herde Lake ordinarily tend to be in the 80's. Through the dark hours of summer temperatures descend down into the 50's.
