Sure, McKeith Lake is just a very short distance away. This lake is so wonderful. Herby Lake is a good site of normal rain; the month of June is the wettest with most of the rain, and February is when it's the driest. This lake is so wonderful. Don't leave Herby Lake without first going for a hike along the Sunrise Ferry Hiking       Trail, and if you've had enough of Herby Lake, Tarbert Lake is nearby. Dry warm beds await you at Luck Country Inn; Trollhaugen is a good local ski area. If you haven’t been to Saint Croix National Scenic River, you must schedule some time for it if you're here, and there's tremendous hiking along the Minnesota-Wisconsin Boundary State Trail. So many exciting things to do here at Herby Lake, too tremendous to be true. If you like skiing, you're in luck; Wild                  Mountain is in close proximity to Herby Lake; Holiday Inn Express Hotel & Suites ST. CROIX VALLEY is a magnificent place to get some rest. There's so much to do here at Herby Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Birchwood Beach Campgrounds is a tremendous place for that; in case you don’t mind getting dripping wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on St. Croix River. For the duration of the warm days of summer at Herby Lake temperatures are commonly in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
