| | that's not sufficient, there's a heap more to do in the vicinity of Henneman Lake. Dry warm beds await you at Country Inn By Carlson Chippewa Falls, and the Hickory Ridge Trail is a wonderful hiking trail nearby.
Glen Loch Motel is a great spot to get some rest, and there is a magnificent hiking trail nearby called the Deer Fly Trail. This is a popular place for folks from Eau Claire, and Duncan Creek has a perfect whitewater paddling spot close by.

lake is so wonderful. You can make out Pikes Peak from Henneman Lake; in the event that you don’t have a problem getting wet, you can always go whitewater paddling on Chippewa River. Through the long summer days at Henneman Lake temperatures
are frequently in the 80's; during summer nights temperatures are in the 50's. Highs during the wintertime are commonly in the 20's, and after the sun is down during the wintertime temperatures at Henneman Lake drop into the-10's.
The annual rain here at Henneman Lake is about average; the month of August is the wettest with most of the rain; February is when it's the driest.
If the weather is nice here at Henneman Lake, you can go for a hike along the
O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail. You'll need more than a day to explore everything Henneman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Northshore Bar and Campground.
