You'll need more than a day to explore everything Henneman Lake has to offer, you can camp at Rock Lake Resort and Campground, and Pikes Peak is gorgeous and can be observed from here. Henneman Lake is not the only spot nearby, Tamarack Lake is a nearby lake, and fine skiing awaits you at Christie Mountain. For the duration of the days of summer at Henneman Lake       temperatures are typically in the 80's. Summer nighttime lows drop down to the 50's. For the period of the winter highs are in the 20's with temperatures at Henneman Lake dipping down into the-10's throughout winter nights. Hiking along the O'Neil Creek Flowage Trail is great fun, and after a long day outdoors Americinn - Chippewa Falls, Wi is a good place to spend a night or two. This lake is so wonderful. Going for a hike along the Hickory Ridge Trail will                  let you absorb the natural beauty of this region; in case you don’t mind getting covered with water, you can always go whitewater paddling on Duncan Creek. Henneman Lake is a wonderful spot to visit for more than one day, Northshore Bar and Campground is a wonderful spot to camp nearby. Visit Cedar Creek if you're here at Henneman Lake, and you'll meet a lot of people from Eau Claire here. Henneman Lake is a good site of typical rain; during August this area sees the most rain, and the driest of the months is February. What a location this is for outdoors people.
