Man, is there loads of cool stuff to do right next door to Hempton Lake. You can run the rapids of Devil's River in close proximity to Hempton Lake. This lake is so wonderful. There's whitewater on Manitowoc River for all you adrenaline junkies; dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Manitowoc. The warmest time of       the year at Hempton Lake comes with high temperatures in the 80's, and throughout the night it cools down to the 50's.
