An average amount of rain falls at Hempton Lake; through the month of June you get the most rain around here, and the driest of the months is February. Whitewater paddling is great on Manitowoc River, and dry warm beds await you at Comfort Inn Manitowoc. The skiing at Hidden Valley is fine, and a good site to camp here at Hempton Lake is Devil's River Campers Park. If only every       site had this much outdoors cool things, what a great globe it would be. You're most likely into lakes, Schisel Lake is one of those close by, and Autumn Ridge Golf Club is a golf course nearby. Camping is available at Shady Acres Campsites, and Hempton Lake is not far at all from Manitowoc. This lake is so wonderful. Get soaked paddling on Devil's River; Holiday Inn Manitowoc, Wi is a great place to get some rest. During the summertime months, highs generally                  are in the 80's at Hempton Lake; the night is slightly colder of course, usually in the 50's.
