You'll need more than a day to explore everything Hemlock Lake has to offer, you can camp at Chipmunk Rapids Campground, and the Dendro Eco Trail offers hiking at its best. During the warm days of summer here at Hemlock Lake, high temperatures ordinarily get into the 70's, and all through the night it cools down to the 50's. During the winter this place gets       highs in the 20's with temperatures at Hemlock Lake dipping down into the 0's through winter nights. Hemlock Lake gets a common amount of precipitation; most of the rain falls all through August while February is the month with the least amount of precipitation. This lake is so wonderful. The best way to spend a winter day is on the slopes of nearby Ski Brule, and if you need a place to stay Americinn - Iron River, Mi is a good choice. Head up to Brule Mountain                  and strap some skis to your feet; paddling on Brule River is so much fun. Hiking is a popular thing to do around Hemlock Lake; Lauterman Trail is a good local trail, and get wet paddling on Pine River.
