The snow is nice at Hidden Valley, and there are some pleasant whitewater spots on Devil's River. An average amount of rainfall falls at Heidmann Lake; all through the month of June you get the most rain around here; February meanwhile is the driest month. If you want a wonderful time in the great outdoors, just come on       down to Heidmann Lake. After a long day outdoors Fox Hills Resort is a wonderful site to spend a night or two, and get yourself into a kayak and hit Neshota River. The warmest time of the year brings highs in the 80's to Heidmann Lake. When the night sets in temperatures dip down into the 50's. The cold days of the winter come with highs in the 20's with temperatures at Heidmann Lake dipping down into the 0's during winter nights.
