If you want a magnificent time in the great       outdoors, just come on down to Hegmeister Lake. Whitewater paddling is great on Flambeau River; there are other locations here than Hegmeister Lake, for example Lake of the Pines. There's so much to do here at Hegmeister Lake that you need to camp here for a while, Wolfs Eagle Lodge Resort and Campground is a great site for that, and nearby you discover the Black Lake Trail which is a splendid hiking trail. Lakes? Sure, Connors Lake is in the vicinity,                  and going for a hike on the Tuscobia Park Falls State Trail is always a perfect adventure. Hegmeister Lake is a good place of common rainfall; throughout August this area sees the most rain, and the driest month of the year is February. Summer brings highs in the 70's to Hegmeister Lake.
